<p> STYLIST: Mary L </p> <p> <span style = "font-size:24px">How does a consultation work?</span> </p> <p> Any type of consulting over 15 minutes is considered a service and priced per hour. Be sure to specify the type of consultation your requesting, this will help me be prepared. Please arrive with clean, dry hair. Bringing pictures of your desired look will help you and I understand what you desire. </p> <p> During the consultation I will determine: </p> <ul> <li class="level1"> what needs to be done</li> <li class="level1"> if we need to order products or tools</li> <li class="level1"> if it can be achieved</li> </ul> <p> Together you and I will describe your hair and decide what will work best for you. Test strands or skin patch tests may be necessary at this time. 48 hours are necessary for a proper skin patch test. It is very helpful to bring a list of past chemical history and allergies. </p> <p> Price quotes vary depending on hair length, hair density, hair texture and complexity of desired look. More time consuming or involved techniques cost more. Quotes are given, but unexpected results can happen during the process and additional charges could results. All additional charges will be discussed before proceeding. </p> <ul> <li class="level1"> For chemical services I ask that you wear the smock provided for protection of your clothing.</li> <li class="level1"> If you would like to be served by another technician or wish a fresh point of view, please let me know.</li> <li class="level1"> Waiting List – When it seems impossible to coordinate your busy schedule with the appointments available at the time of your call… please request to also be put on a Waiting List. Due to cancelations, I am frequently able to schedule an appointment at your most convenient time.</li> <li class="level1"> Last Minute Appointments – I encourage you to call me at the "last minute" for appointments. The 30 minute braid is a menu offering cord braids, French braids, waterfall braids, herringbone, or fishtail. Each service is $25, and clients are out of the chair in 30 minutes or less.
