There are a lot of different things that factor into choosing braiding techniques. Hair texture, length, volume and strength all play a significant part in determining what braiding technique will look best on you. Another consideration is whether or not you are able to execute the braiding technique yourself or if you would need to bring in a professional braider to help you. We have selected ten designs for a fun and simpler braiding experience, which still allows you to express yourself and not have to spend hours in a chair.

Most of the braid selections can be achieved using the French or Dutch technique,

also referred to as French or Reverse.

Regular French braid will lay flat against your head, the Reverse French braid will appear to sit on top of the rest of your hair.

Braid Envy is provided by Braiders which may not be regulated by the the State of Minnesota, therefore will not provide any other services besides the braiding. Ten twists are to be achieved in less than 30 minutes time, beautifully braided, and fun. Services requiring irons, backcombing, and pinning up, etc are classified as an up do or formal style.
