You won't see Mary L Hair & Body Care from the street, but once you find your way into the Broadway Building, you will find a welcome retreat from the hum of downtown traffic. We are a smaller, slow pace business that provides more personal, friendly one on one service. We keep up to date on what's new, what matters, and is very open to what you would like. BEGINNING JUNE 1, 2020, SALONS WERE ALLOWED TO OPEN WITH CONDITIONS. MN GOVERNOR, MN COSMETOLOGY BOARD AND THE HEALTH BOARD RELEASED MORE SPECIFIC GUIDELINES FOR SALONS TO FOLLOW. ESTABLISHING A CERTIFIED COMPLIANT SALON, LIMITING CLIENTS, EXTRA COSTS IN HIGH DEMAND SUPPLIES, DISTANCING, SCREENING, KEEPING REQUIRED SUPPLIES STOCKED, AND FINDING IMMEDIATE ASSISTANTS IF HELP OR MYSELF IS QUARANTINED, MY SIMPLE SOLUTION IS TO JUST REMAIN CLOSED AT THIS TIME.

COVID 19 REQUIRES EXTRA TIME AND COST, UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL NO LONGER OFFER DISCOUNTS PER SAY SENIORS, CHILDREN, VIP. COVID REGULATIONS DOES NOT INCLUDE BLOW DRY FINISHED STYLES WITH SERVICES. SERVICES REQUIRING LONGER CHAIR TIME IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

EXTRA PRECAUTIONARY SANITATION REGULATIONS HAS INFLUENCED OUR DECISION TO NOT PROVIDE SERVICES USING STYLING TOOLS SUCH AS IRONS, CURLERS, AND BLOW DRYERS AT THIS TIME. ALSO SERVICES SUCH AS FOILS. BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT, PERMS THAT TAKE OVER 2 HOURS WILL ALSO BE SUSPENDED. FULL FACE WAXING OR LIPS THAT REQUIRE NO MASK WILL NOT BE PROVIDED AT THIS TIME. FOR SANITATION AND SAFETY, SCHEDULING OF VARIOUS SERVICES CAN BE BUNDLED TOGETHER FOR CONVENIENCE, BUT NO SERVICES WILL BE ADDED DURING YOUR CHAIR TIME. WE ABSOLUTELY NEED TO STAY ON SCHEDULE AND MAINTAIN THE SCHEDULED TIME SET IN BETWEEN TO FULLY SANITIZE STATIONS.

Our prices do not include gratuities for services providers. Tipping is optional, but if the service exceeds your expectations, it is definitely appreciated.
